Client Mod Setup and how to guide.
Step 1: Download Modloader: github.com/ago1024/WurmClientModLauncher/releases/download/v0.4/client-modlauncher-0.4.zip
Step 2: Download LiveMap Mod: github.com/ago1024/LiveHudMap/releases/download/v1.3.1/livemap-1.3.1.zip
Step 3: Download Improved Compass Mod: github.com/bdew-wurm/compass/releases/download/v0.1/compass-0.1.zip
Step 4: Make sure you have a zip program such as winzip or 7zip etc., and move all three downloaded folders from your downloads folder to a new folder on your desktop.
Step 5: Unzip all three folders into the "new folder" that they are now in.
Step 6: Locate "Wurm Unlimited" folder in your computers steam directory. A common location for most people will be.
PATH: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wurm Unlimited
Step 7: Once you have located the "Wurm Unlimited" Folder you will then drag all the unzipped "Modloader" files from the "New folder" on your desktop and insert the "Modloader" files into the root of the "WurmLauncher" folder.
Step 8: Open the "Wurm Launcher" folder inside the "Wurm Unlimited" folder used in "Step 7" You will now see a "mods" folder, The "LiveMap" and the "Improved Compass" unzipped folders can be dragged/copied into the mods folder to install them.
Step 9: Once all three of the mods are installed properly you will open the "Wurm Launcher" folder and select/run the "Patcher" Batch file. A black command prompt (CMD) window will open and should read "INFO:Client is now patched" Usually this message will appear on line 5 and should be relatively easy to read.
Step 10: Now you may launch "Wurm Unlimited" with the above mods working properly.
When using the "LiveMap" mod when in game, Press esc to open the game's menu and select "Livemap" A window should then appear with a mini-map in Wurm.
Using the improved compass: With a compass in your inventory you should see a compass on screen when you mouse over the compass it should now give you coordinates and elevation (the elevation value = number of dirts above sea level that you are standing on). If you do not see a compass on screen when having a compass in your inventory then you may need to toggle this option on in the menu/hud settings.
